| | A large Golden Cornucopia that sits in the middle of the arena. All the tributes are spawned into the arena around this magnificent work of art. Inside is the wealth of the Games containing any weapons or medical supplies one may need. Definityley the shiniest thing in the arena, it's hard to miss. This is where the Blood Bath takes place.

| | Surrounding the Cornucopia is a small creek of fresh water. Sometimes, if lucky, you may find a stray fish swimming around. But be carefull for unfortunate suprises may lurk there.

| | Past the creek surrounding the tiny semi-island the cornucopia sits on is a large woods. Every where you look a tree sits there. The trees are tightly spaced together so they're hard to get through without climbing and moving branch from branch but it is possible.

| | If you make it past the woods you will find the temperature greatly increases. From the cool woodland you were originally in you walk straight into a barren wasteland with a volcano in the distance. The volcano, though stationary, seems like it could pop to life at any second.

| | Once you go past the desert there's a large border of volcanoes surrounding the arena proving that the arena is a giant circle. This may be something you'd want to watch out for.

| District 12 mines coal for the Capitol. It is located in the Appalachian Mountains, and the district itself is split into two areas housing two distinct social classes. "The Seam" is a slum where those who work in the coal mines live, whereas the mercantile class lives in the town. Both classes are easy to distinguish physically: those from the Seam generally have dark hair, grey eyes and olive skin, and those from merchant families usually have blond hair and blue eyes.
District 12 is very poor, and starvation is a major issue for the citizens. Due the lack of food, the local Capitol authority, the Mayor and Peacekeepers, often bend the extremely strict Panem laws. The fence surrounding the district and preventing access to the woods is often not electrified. The black market, located at a old coal warehouse named the Hob, was where many of the citizens make their money.

| Capitol citizens are shown to be mostly preoccupied with fashion, food, and entertainment. Dyes, tattoos, wigs, and costumes of myriad style and vivid color are all the rage. Plastic surgery and other extreme makeovers are commonplace. At parties, the selection of dishes is commonly far greater than would allow a single person to try everything. Guests often drink an emetic to vomit the food they have consumed in order to enjoy more. The entire Capitol eagerly anticipates the annual Hunger Games as the highlight of the year's entertainment. Capitol citizens manifest almost no concern for or even awareness of the desperate conditions in which most district citizens live, or the tremendous injustice and tragedy of the Hunger Games.
